It started with Jake and Nog.

In January 2019, Aron Eisenberg and Cirroc Lofton teamed up with Ryan T. Husk to revisit Deep Space Nine. The conversations grew into a community.

After Aron’s death, Cirroc and Ryan continued the project in his memory, welcoming performers and creators into the discussion.

WHY THE 7TH RULE?

“Keep your ears open.”

The name points to the seventh Ferengi Rule of Acquisition from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. The Rules are the Ferengi’s famously profit-minded maxims. Here, number seven is a fitting invitation to listen, stay curious, and discover another perspective.

There is a personal connection, too: co-founder Aron Eisenberg played Nog, the Ferengi who became a Starfleet officer.
